National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF)

Today, most people in Kenya continue to die from treatable illnesses due to the fact that they cannot afford medical care. Further, most poor people are held hostage in hospitals until they can clear the bill. In addition, bodies of the dead cannot be released to their families until the bill is cleared.

NHIF (National Health Insurance Fund) enables unemployed individuals to access in-patient public health for approximately $7 per month. The fund covers the entire bill for the general ward in public hospitals, except for cosmetic procedures.

This year, you can enable 100 individuals to gain access to medical assistance with your generous contribution.
